Healthy Snacks Only

All of the teachers in MP2 have noticed that many children are bringing in sugary snacks into school. This must not continue. At break time our school provides a fruit snack for children that is healthy. If you would like a different snack to eat at break time then you must make sure you bring in a healthy one. This could be fruit or vegetables or perhaps seaweed. There should be little or no sugar in the snacks. Carrot sticks, raspberries or strawberries would make a great snack for a break time if you do not like the fruit in school. Any children that bring in sugary unhealthy snacks to eat at break time will be told to keep the snack in their bag and eat it at another time and not at school.

Atrhletics Competition

Year 4 have the lucky opportunity to join in the HCMC international schools athletics competition on Wednesday 27th. Any children that wish to join in and take part need to bring their PE kit to school tomorrow and come to the gym after school at 14:30. Mr Ali will then help children to decide which event they should compete in. It will finish at 16:00 so please arrange to be collected then if you are taking part.

MP2 Christmas Decorations

MP2 had such a great time making Christmas decorations on Monday afternoon. Thank you so much to all of the mums and other helpers that came in to support the children. Risa's mother, Mrs Ezuka, deserves a special mention for all her hard work in preparing the event. Without all that hard work, the decoration making would not have happened. Thank you so much.

Milepost 2 Production Cinderella

Milepost 2 will be performing Cinderella & Rockerfella this term. The auditions will take place on Thursday during the milepost assembly. All of the words for the audition will need to be learned and ready to perform. Everything you need can be found in this folder. Please remember to log into your gmail @bisvietnam.net account. You will no be able to access the folder without logging in.

Please let the teachers know which roles you would like to be considered for after you have looked at the cast list in the folder.

Parent's Information Evening

Dear Parents, 

This Thursday at 6:30pm TX will have its annual parent's information evening. All parents are invited to come and find out about the curriculum and routines that are taught here at TX. It will begin in the gym at 6:30pm and then there will be a short presentation by the teachers in the classrooms. It is an opportunity for all parents to meet the new teacher and learn of their expectations this year. I hope to see you all there.  

First Day

Today was a great first day back. Hopefully the new reading diaries will arrive tomorrow and we can organise all that wonderful reading we are going to do this year. Well done 4T I will see you all tomorrow. 

Welcome Back

Hello 4T! This is the first post of what I'm sure is going to be the best year ever. This first term we will be writing stories, acting plays, going on adventures and lots more. The work is going to be challenging for everyone but I know everyone will do their best and have fun too.

We are going to be beginning the year by remembering how our the TX special animals help us to become amazing learners. With their help, and all your hard work, I know that everyone will achieve their best. Before the year begins and we get stuck into the challenging learning, think about the questions below. 

Imagine you are at the end of Year 4 and you have achieved everything you wanted to during the year. What did you achieve? How do you feel? What can you and I do to make sure you become the person you imagine yourself to be?

I will be explaining all about this in class when I see you and I can't wait.
