1. Can you observe and name these properties?
2. What other substances can you think of that also have features of both the states of matter?

Write a blog post about what you have learnt about colloids. Include in your post pictures of examples of colloids.

Our Star of the Week is Mei. She has excelled in learning English and has made great progress this year. Well done to her!

Weekly notices:

First of all great news from Mr Mike. On Wednesday his daughter, Joanne was born. The whole Martin family are very happy and healthy. Ms Emma will cover the class until Wednesday, whilst Mr Mike is on paternity leave.

Next week we'll be completing some assessments of your learning so far this year. Please make sure you are at school on time so that you don't miss or disrupt any tests.

FOBISIA

The Primary FOBISIA Games are being hosted by BIS HCMC this year. As a result, there will be no school for MP2 and MP3 on Friday (20th) as the teachers are required to help with the events that day.

Weekly Reminder

Next week is a normal week for Year 4. All clubs will be on next week so please make sure you are prepared for the clubs that you have. Everyone should have had an email saying which clubs they are attending this term. On Monday Ms Van Anh and Ms Tam will add a club list to our classroom doors and I will post it here on the blog too. 

Please remember to bring your PE kit for any extra football matches you may have for Mr Ali's Euro 2016 football competition. 

Weekly Reminder

Please remember that next week on Monday and Tuesday there are public holidays and so school will be closed on those days. The rest of the week will continue as normal. 

Tickets are still on sale for the school disco and they can be bought for 40,000 VND. If you are not going home before the disco, you will need to remember to bring in your groovy dancing clothes and get changed here at school. There will be a room for Year 4 to wait in while year 1-3 are having their disco between 2:45 and 3:30. The Year 4 disco begins at 3:45.

Please keep looking at the calendar on this blog as it will tell you about all the upcoming events such as the swimming gala, FOBISEA sports and assessment weeks.

Weekly Reminder

As the stage is up in the hall, there will be no PE on Monday. Instead we will hopefully have swimming (as long as the swimming pool filter is fixed). Bring your swimming kit on Monday.

On Friday, as it is the last day of term, school will finish at 11.30 and there will be no Vietnamese club. Make sure your parents know. You won't need your swimming kit that day!

Weekly Reminder

Next week the only clubs that are continuing are for those children who have compulsory Vietnamese language club. All other clubs are now finished. All other lessons are as normal so please bring your normal school things.

On Friday, Ms Ellie and I will be judging the class speech competition so please make sure you are prepared and ready. The homework next week will once again be speech competition homework and we are both looking forward to hearing the ambitions of everyone in Year 4. Those winners from our class competition will then be speaking in the MP2 speech competition on the following Thursday.
