Can you use speech marks write writing these arguments?

 Use your video from yesterday's lesson to write down a conversation. Remember to use lots of synonyms for said and include all your speech marks.

Targets Achieved!

The children in 4T have now had time to think about how they are going to improve this year and what they need to do to improve in their writing. Well done to Quoc Vinh, Iris, Quynh An, Risa and Vani who have all already met one writing target and will be thinking about their new ones soon. 

Weekly Reminder

This week was a fun filled week with plenty of learning. Next week is a normal week for Year 4. All lessons will be as normal so please remember all your books and sports kit on the days you need them. 

There have been some children that are forgetting to read every day during the week and get their reading record signed. Please make sure you get them signed each night.  

In a couple of weeks it will be moon festival. As an additional homework, each Year 4 child needs to make their own moon lantern ready for the moon festival assembly in two weeks time. When you have completed the lamp please bring it to school so that it can be judged. The best lantern will win a prize! 

Art Begins

All of the children in 4T were really excited to begin learning with Ms Charlie. As the term goes by I'm sure everyone will improve and enjoy it too.

Adventure Story Writing

We had great fun listening to Mr Mike reading Sir Charlie Stinky Socks and the Really Big Adventure. Great to hear lots of fantastic predictions and comments about the book.

We discussed the structure of the story and will be looking at this in more detail next week.

Weekly Reminder

Another week has gone and I find it hard to believe that next week we are already starting week 3. Next week is a normal week for us. All lessons will be as usual so please remember all your school things on the day you need them. 

Next Friday each school house will vote for the new house captains so please wear you house t-shirt to school on that day. Wear your normal shorts and shoes but change your top for your house t-shirt.  




Those that have Vietnamese after school club must remember that it begins next Tuesday. It starts at 2:40 and finishes at 3:40. All other clubs will start later and not next week. 

Parent's Information Evening

Dear Parents, 

This Thursday at 6:30pm TX will have its annual parent's information evening. All parents are invited to come and find out about the curriculum and routines that are taught here at TX. It will begin in the gym at 6:30pm and then there will be a short presentation by the teachers in the classrooms. It is an opportunity for all parents to meet the new teacher and learn of their expectations this year. I hope to see you all there.
