Next week on Wednesday morning the children will be going on a short trip for the exit point of our Adventure & Explorers IPC unit. On Wednesday please wear you normal school uniform but wear your house t shirt instead. As we will be walking outside, please make sure you bring your hat and water bottle to school on Wednesday.
Everyone in school here at TX had such a great day yesterday during science day. In Year 4, the children put into practise what they had learned from all their electricity lessons with Ms Mary. Thank you to all the parents that were able to come into school at the end of the day to see what the children had been learning.
This week Year 4 started our community project. In Year 4 we work with some children Poussiere De Vie and over the next few weeks we will be completing a variety of different art activities. To start we all played games in multi-purpose room so that we could get to know each other. All the children had fun and they have already been asking about the activities for next week.
Next week Year 4 will finish their assessments and also enjoy Science Day on Thursday. In order to complete the Science Day activities we will need shoe boxes. If you have any spare shoe boxes at home please bring them in to use.
Sports day was a fantastic event and I was so pleased to see the children in MP2 try so hard in all their events. Every child I talked to enjoyed the day and thought that this year was even better than ever. Thank you so much to Mr Ali and Mr Chau for organising such a fantastic day. Well done to those children that have recently achieved one of their writing targets. We will all be completing more big write this Friday (Thursday for children away on Friday) so there will be opportunities for all to meet more of their targets then.
