Weekly Reminder

Next week is the final week of school before the Tet holiday. The school day on Friday will finish at 14:30 and all children in 4T that usually go to Vietnamese will need to be collected then as there is no Vietnamese club. Photography club is still on.

Tet Fair

To celebrate Tet this year, all the children here at TX will have the opportunity to visit the TX Tet fair. It will take place in the afternoon on Friday and the children will take part in different activities all linked to the Vietnamese Tet celebration. Children that wish to can wear their ao dai on this day. It is not compulsory and if children do not wish to wear their ao dai they should come to school in their usual school uniform. 

No Swimming 

Please bring your PE kit to school on Friday as 4T will have an extra PE lesson instead of a swimming lesson.

For a healthy maths lesson this week Year measured and designed their own smoothies. They were very precise when measuring and managed to produce some delicious recipes.

Weekly Reminder

Next week is healthy living week and will include lots of sporting activities. Below is a list of all the activities. 

Monday 

MP2 PE Session - All children will have a joined and extended PE lesson where they will complete challenges and learn how to get fit and stay healthy. 

Zumba - All children in MP2 will have time in the gym to complete some fun dance and fitness activities.

Tuesday

Circuit Training - Children who like an early start to their day and enjoying moving, can come to school in your PE kit and ready to run at 7:30am. Mr Ali will be organising a circuit training session for anyone interested. 

Dodge Ball - If children wish to take part in a dodge ball competition they must bring themselves and three friends to the gym on Tuesday lunchtime. 

Wednesday 

Athletics Competition - Those children that wanted to represent the school at the Ho Chi Mnh City international school's athletics tournament will be going in the afternoon. Please make sure you have your PE kit, hat, water bottle and sun cream. 

Thursday

Sports Day - The whole of MP2 will be going over to the AP1 campus to have our sports day. The buses will leave TX as soon as possible and hopefully sports will begin around 9:00am. Children that live in District 2 can choose to meet the class at AP1. Please email your class teacher if you plan to do this and be at AP1 ready by 8:45am. 

Parents are welcome to and watch and enjoy the day. Parents can take their children home from AP1 at the end of the day.

Everyone needs to remember to wear their house t-shirt and bring a water bottle, hat and sun cream. 

Friday

Sports Day assembly -  All parents are welcome to come to the sports day assembly on Friday morning at 8:10am to discover which team won sports day and learn about the other acitivities that have happened during the week. 

Long Hai Presentation

After school at 14:30 on Tuesday Mr Ellie and Mr Mike will give a short presentation about the upcoming Long Hai residential trip. All parents are welcome. 

All clubs will be begin and are on next week.

Atrhletics Competition

Year 4 have the lucky opportunity to join in the HCMC international schools athletics competition on Wednesday 27th. Any children that wish to join in and take part need to bring their PE kit to school tomorrow and come to the gym after school at 14:30. Mr Ali will then help children to decide which event they should compete in. It will finish at 16:00 so please arrange to be collected then if you are taking part.

Adventurers & Explorers

Today Year 4 showed great team work when solving clues to find out which adventurer and explorers they would all be learning about. Not all of the adventurers/explorers have been identified. Can you search Google to find out who they are? I have added the pictures of them all below. Write a comment to say if you know who they are.
