Adventurers & Explorers

Today Year 4 showed great team work when solving clues to find out which adventurer and explorers they would all be learning about. Not all of the adventurers/explorers have been identified. Can you search Google to find out who they are? I have added the pictures of them all below. Write a comment to say if you know who they are.

    1) edward Mickeal aka Bear Grylls is a british adventurer,writer, tv host and chief scout.he is known for "man in the wild tv serie".
    2) Sir Edmund percuval hillary (1919-2008) was a new zealnd mountaineer. Among his success was reaching mount everest.
    3) jales cook (1728-1779) was a British explorer' navigator and cartographer. He was a captain in the royal navy. He was killed in Hawai on his third trip. He mapped lands from NZ to Hawai in the Pacific.
    4) Neil Amstrong : 1930-2012 .a.rican astronaut who was the first to walk on the moon on july 1969
    5) ranulph fiennes : british born polar explorer and writer. First man to go to the north pole and south pole by land, alsofirst one, to cross Antartica walking. He sawed his own frozen iced finger to save the rest of his hand.
